"The Myth of Sisyphus" T-Shirt

from Chronographs

T-Shirt/Apparel

In 1942 Camus introduced his philosophy of absurdism. He posed the question of whether or not one should kill themselves based on the realisation of the futility of the search for the meaning of life. He finishes his essay, the myth of Sisyphus, using the analogy of Sisyphus. A man condemned to repeat for all eternity the meaningless task of pushing a boulder up a mountain, only to watch it fall. He states that the struggle itself must be enough for us,we must imagine Sisyphus as happy.
For us as a band some of the key ideas that formed the existential and absurd philosophies of Sartre and Camus respectively played a huge role in the concepts contained within our EP Nausea.

This t-shirt - a contrasting half-tone print in water-based black ink onto a white 'Premium Cotton' tee - is our tribute to the great mind of Camus.
